Yes. All SECAP products are designed to comply with relevant Australian electrical and safety standards.

8. Are your PDUs suitable for high-density or high-temperature racks?

Absolutely. Our units are engineered to operate in high-duty environments such as data centres and industrial IT spaces. Thermal design and component selection are chosen with longevity in mind.

9. Do your PDUs support remote monitoring?

Yes. Our smart and monitored PDU models support features such as:

  • Input-level monitoring

  • Outlet-level monitoring

  • Remote on/off switching (managed models)

  • Integration with existing DCIM or monitoring tools

10. What is the difference between a PDU and a power rail?

In many cases the terms overlap.
At SECAP:

  • PDU refers to full rack-mount distribution units (0U, 1RU, 2RU).

  • Power rail often refers to simpler distribution strips used in IT racks, AV installations, and industrial enclosures.

Both fall under our power distribution product line.
